Residing in San Diego, CA as a freelance artist, she began her journey right after high school in 2010. She attended Bellus Academy where she became certified in makeup artistry. From there she started applying her talent and expertise with various projects which includes local fashion shows, photoshoots, weddings, and many other events. Throughout her journey she has been able to meet some of the most colorful and inspiring people in the industry. She loves every aspect of makeup from beauty to special effects, but lives for fashion, editorial and runway makeup. She is creative in nature and loves to express that through her art. Her positive friendly personality and meticulous hand have been acknowledged by many as well as her artistry and professionalism. Crystal is passionate about her craft and continues to stay current in the field with latest products and techniques. That also includes attending trade shows and workshops/classes with seasoned artists. She has been taught by some of the best in the industry including Megan Martinez and Valerie Vonprisk. Her high profile clientele has included actress Joy Osmanski, model Christy Mack, and working backstage with fashion designers Kenneth Barlis and Andre Soriano. Crystal continues to pursue her dreams as a freelancer.
